2003 Alaska : A few favorites from my Alaska trip in 2003. I left Minneapolis in late August, and went north into Maniitoba, west through northern Saskatchewan, up through Alberta and British Columbia to through the Rockies on the Alaskan Highway, and into Alaska proper. I went as far north as the Brooks Range on the Dalton Highway, Fairbanks, Chena Hot Springs, Talkeenta, Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula to Seward and Homer, and then back from Haines through Juneau and Sitka on the Alaska Marine Highway, ending in Seattle in November.
